HOW DID YOU GET INTO KITING?  I was working in Glasgow and saw a Flexifoil video in a shop, I bought a Super 10 and the rest is history.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT KITING?  Going fast and challenging the elements.

HOW DO YOU DESCRIBE KITESURFING TO PEOPLE WHO DON’T KNOW WHAT IT IS? 

Like wakeboarding without the boat.

TELL US ABOUT A KITE EXPERIENCE: Ince Beach flat out on a Flexi buggy clocking 60.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SIZE KITE?  7m on the water because it turns fast and goes fast, 4.9m Blade on the land of course

WHAT QUALITIES DO YOU LIKE IN A BOARD?  Surf style rockerline, soft rails, three fins at the back and no footstraps.

WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO YOU IN LIFE?  Family, wind every day, food and food!

WHAT MUSIC WERE YOU BROUGHT UP ON AND DO YOU EVER LISTEN TO IT NOW?

Reggae and yes I listen to it now.

MONEY OR LIFESTYLE?  I own a kiteshop so obviously lifestyle!

HOW WOULD YOU FEEL ABOUT THE FEMALE IN YOUR LIFE KITESURFING?  Don’t think it’s a good idea, I like my tea on the table and the washing done etc etc   

TIPS FOR PEOPLE GETTING INTO THE SPORT:   Buy a 2.5m Rage and learn to fly a kite.
