HOW DID YOU GET INTO KITESURFING? From skateboarding, snowboarding and then powerkiting, the natural progression was kitesurfing!

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT KITESURFING? Big floaty airs and riding new spots.

HOW DO YOU DESCRIBE KITESURFING TO PEOPLE WHO DON’T KNOW WHAT IT IS? It’s like windsurfing but with a kite instead of a sail.

TELL US ABOUT A KITE EXPERIENCE:

I once left 2 kites and my onboard camera kit in a bag on Los Canos de Mecca in Spain! I realised this as I was walking through the airport about to get on the plane for the flight home… And I got it all back thanks to a French kiter named JP who we’d met a few days before. It pays to talk to your fellow kitesurfers!

WHAT IS THE WORST THING ABOUT KITESURFING? When you get 2 weeks of no wind!

HOW WOULD YOU FEEL ABOUT THE FEMALE IN YOUR LIFE KITESURFING? Its brilliant, I get to borrow her 7m Atom!!

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SIZE KITE? My 9m Flexi Fusion

WHAT QUALITIES DO YOU LIKE IN A BOARD? Good pop, easy to edge, light and footstraps that fit really well!

WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO YOU IN LIFE? Living by the beach and going kiting with friends.

WHAT MUSIC WERE YOU BROUGHT UP ON AND DO YOU EVER LISTEN TO IT NOW? Madness, Iron Maiden and Dead Kennedy’s and occasionally I listen to them!

DREAM WHEELS? Some pimp campervan that runs on vegetable oil!
